Disc Us: A Unique Social Deduction Browser Game
Overview
Disc Us is an innovative online multiplayer social deduction game designed for players of all ages. Built using HTML5 technology and powered by Unity WebGL, this browser-only game offers a fresh take on the social deduction genre. Inspired by the popular Among Us but with its own unique mechanics, Disc Us provides a engaging and strategic gameplay experience where survival depends on teamwork and wit.
Gameplay
In Disc Us, players are assigned roles as either Traitors or Scientists. The goal is to work together to complete tasks while avoiding being voted out or killed. Traitors will do everything in their power to disrupt the progress and eliminate opponents, while Scientists must secure critical elements of the game to ensure victory. If a player gets eliminated, they can respawn in the center hub, but only if they can convince others to use the key to open their "jail."
Rules and Strategy
- Traitors Role: - Move Oxygen Tanks away from the Oxygen Floor. - Hide or kill players by transforming into a Disc (press spacebar). - Obstruct Orbs from reaching their Pedestals. - Avoid detection while making gameplay harder for opponents.
- Scientists Role: - Secure Orbs on their Pedestals in the top room. - Place Oxygen Tanks on the Oxygen Floor in the center hub. - Dispose of trash (banana peels) in trash vents located in corner rooms. - Use the red button in the Center Hub to report suspicious players or request timeouts.
